Dr Olufemi Orawusi is a Medical Doctor & Healthcare Management Consultant. He is currently the MD/CEO of Lifecare Partners, A health Insurance Firm.
A desire for a less traditional role in medicine led him to become an emergency medicine practitioner (emergency medicine, aviation medicine, occupational health and training). He has a passion for training and believes firmly that “No child/individual is un-intelligent when following his/her passion and has had all distractions removed”. Currently the Project Coordinator of Edu-Aid, he leads a team of dedicated, talented and innovative people which has led to the unprecedented growth of the organization.
Dr Orawusi holds an MBBS degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
He is a certified instructor in First Aid/First Response/Basic Life Support and a specialist in Medical Emergency Response Planning Systems (MERP)
He is also the Managing Partner of Pulse HealthCare Ltd (Health Consulting) and co-founder of Doctors on Wheels Nigeria. He is married with children and a Deacon at the Covenant Christian Center.
Dr. Modupe Adefeso-Olateju
Dr. Modupe (Mo) Adefeso-Olateju is a recognized policy expert specializing in public-private partnerships in education. She is Managing Director of The Education Partnership Centre (TEP Centre); Nigeria’s pioneering education partnership organization. She advises education sector policymakers, leads work streams on a range of education sector support initiatives funded or assisted by international donors and corporate funders, and trains public sector officials and development organizations on strategic planning, and monitoring and evaluation.
Under Mo’s leadership, the Pan-African Education Innovation Summit (NEDIS) was established. Now in its sixth year, NEDIS is a platform for identifying and scaling meaningful innovations in the education sector. Mo also leads the team which hosts the National Innovation Collaboration on Education (NICE), a community of knowledge and practice around education innovation; and EdMeetsTech which is an initiative that connects EdTech entrepreneurs with educators and education policymakers such that, innovative solutions to education challenges can be co-created and scaled. She is leading the implementation of LEARNigeria; Nigeria’s tech-enabled citizen-led household assessment and advocacy programme, which in partnership with government and corporate sector, is assessing the foundational literacy and numeracy competencies of over 100,000 children and youth aged 5-18 in Nigeria, advocating for evidence-based policymaking and supporting the implementation of effective remedial programs for communities.
Mo was co-convener of the National Annual Education Conference (NAEC) hosted by the Federal Ministry of Education in 2018 and 2019 and wrote a section of the Federal Ministry of Education’s Strategic Plan for Education (2011-2015). She serves on the Advisory Committee of the Brookings Institution Center for Universal Education (CUE) Millions Learning program. She was previously Monitoring and Evaluation workstream lead with UK-DfID’s ESSPIN Program, Business Analyst with Accenture and Vice President at Junior Achievement, and serves as a trustee of four impactful non-profits. Mo is a 2020 Fellow of the Asia-Global Institute in Hong Kong and a Fellow of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) in Nigeria. As a Centenary Scholar (Africa), she received a PhD in Education and International Development from the Institute of Education, University College London. She earned a Masters with Distinction from the same institution.
Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo
Mrs Folashade Omobola Adefisayo is the Lagos State commissioner for Education. She was born on the 13th of November 1957. She holds BSc in Zoology from University of Ibadan and MBA from University of Lagos, PGC Education from University of Nottingham, MA Education from the same University in 2015.
Folasade Adefisayo, B.Sc, MBA, IPGCE, M.Ed. retired in 2014 from the services of the Corona Schools Trust Council after 13 years of service. She was the CEO of The Trust and in her last four years was a consultant and Director of the Corona Secondary School. She is presently an educational consultant engaged in providing broad-based education consulting ranging from school transformation, teacher recruitment and training, school set up and management, school and NGO board development and school operations management.
She has over 35 years working experience spanning banking operations, Trade Finance, Organizational Restructuring, Human Resource Management, Training and Treasury Management. She is dedicated to improving other people’s lives and has served as a volunteer to many NGOs – Society for the Blind, Volunteer Corps, Oando Foundation, Teach for Nigeria, SWORTE Talks among others.
Folasade serves on the governing boards of four schools and five not for profits engaged in youth and education. Folasade’s greatest passion is for education, particularly education for the poor and she has consulted and served organisations concerned with mass education such as the NESG, DFID and DEEPEN. She has also consulted for state governments and a number of schools. She has worked United Bank for Africa, Everest Finance Company, Comet Merchant Bank Ltd , Tetra Pak ( West Africa) Ltd and Chairman Corona Schools Trust Council.

Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum is a Member of Parliament and a Deputy Minister of Education for the Republic of Ghana. Prior to this he served as the Chief Executive Officer of New Designs Educational Group (NDEG) based in Los Angeles, California in the United States. Through NDEG he founded and led the New Designs Charter Schools that served students in Los Angeles.
Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum holds a PhD in Education Policy and Administration from the University of Southern California and a Masters in Education Management from University of La Verne in California. His undergraduate degree in Land Economy was completed at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He is married with two kids.
